I know low D2 impacts creativity (creative types and schizophrenics apparently share dopamine issues). Apparently low D2 allows less of a filter in processing information thus leading to more creative ideas. I have been prescribed Wellbutrin. Does this affect the density of those D2 receptors? Could it increase motivation but destroy some parts of creativity? I just want to understand how these specific drugs may impact dopamine levels.
